Since Lan Qing Diesel Engine was listed in 2005, its high-efficiency, energy-saving, and environmental-friendly features have been generally recognized by the market. Weichai Power has keenly captured the development prospects of Lanqing Platform and has developed products that meet the needs of the market. Weichai Power has developed Blue Engine N and L series diesel engines to meet the market demand for low-speed engines. The breakthrough in product dynamics, reliability, economy, and environmental protection has been achieved.
On June 21, 2010, Weichai Group held a 100 billion-level green power R&D and manufacturing base and a 1.5 million high-power diesel engine strategic planning conference in Weifang, Shandong Province, and announced that it will achieve sales revenue of 50 billion yuan in 2012 and 80 billion yuan in 2015. In 2020, it will exceed the target of 100 billion yuan.
