Hyundai Kia sells 2.6 million Wia shares

According to Reuters news, Hyundai Motor and its Kia Motors Corp. recently sold 2.6 million shares of Hyundai Wia Corp.

Hyundai-Kia sold a total of 2.6 million shares at a price of 131,600 won per share. The total value of these stocks was 340 billion won (approximately 301 million U.S. dollars).

Informed sources revealed that foreign investors acquired the shares of Wia, which Hyundai’s Kia sold.

The modern Wia company mainly produces a variety of automotive parts, industrial machinery, aircraft parts and satellite imaging products. The auto parts produced include chassis system modules, tire components, axle assemblies, and engines.
