Processing waste from the production of nickel-cadmium battery plants

At present, cadmium is consumed in a large amount in the production of Ni-Cd batteries. This battery plant produces a large amount of cadmium-containing waste, and the production process for recovering cadmium from such waste is shown in Fig. 1.
