There are two main types of charge structure, continuous charge and segmented charge (spaced charge). When the explosive is filled with the blasthole, it is said to be uncoupled (see Figure 1 (É‘)). When there is a certain gap between the explosive and the wall of the hole, it is said to be uncoupled (see Figure 1(b)). Spaced charges (shown in Figure 1(c)) are generally separated by air or stuffing. The former is generally used in ore-rock below medium and hard, and the interval charge can be adjusted according to the parameters of the blasthole and the condition of the rock through it. The length of the charge and the local blasting energy reach a better blasting effect.
