Matters needing attention when starting up the ball mill

When starting the ball mill, the equipment shall be started in the reverse process sequence, and each device shall start up and then start the next one.

The operation of the ball mill must be checked frequently to check if the bearing temperature is too high (it should not exceed 60 degrees). If the temperature is too high, check whether the lubricating oil is sufficient, whether the oil is on the journal, and whether the cooling water is smooth. If there is abnormal noise, check if the bolt is loose and whether the gear bite is normal. Observe the change of the current and voltage of the motor at any time and remove the abnormality in time.

In the operation of the ball mill, the feeding force should be adjusted according to the fineness of the material and the moisture of the material (dry grinding). When the fineness of the material is increased, the feeding amount is increased; when the moisture content of the material is large, the feeding amount is reduced.

When the ball mill stops working, it shall stop according to the sequence of the process flow. The stopping time of the ball mill shall ensure that the material is unloaded from the equipment, so as to avoid the starting of the material during the restart, and then the dust remover is stopped. If the parking time is long in winter, the cooling water in the bearing should be drained.
