Therefore, the pyrite cinder (dry ore) is sieved with 100 mesh, and the content of the product S under the sieve is greatly reduced, and sulfur can be considered in the sieve level.

S, SO ₂ , SO ₃ and the like generated during the calcination of pyrite slag are adsorbed in the pores of the slag, and salts are formed at a high temperature with the active element in the slag. The sulfur in the form of such free sulfur, SO4 ^{2 -} and soluble SO ₄ ^{2 -} is soluble in water, and part of the sulfur can be removed by dissolution and flushing at the time of selection. After grinding, the mineral will reach a higher monomer dissociation. Stirring for a certain period of time before sorting can increase the removal rate of S by 50% to 60%, and the content of S in the slag can be reduced to about 0.35%.

The slag is scrubbed through the spiral chute in the process, and the water-insoluble FeS and FeS ₂ and the partially soluble sulfate in the slag are removed, which naturally reduces the sulfur and silicon content in the slag. At this time, the content of S in the slag is about 0.2%.

Other desulfurization methods cannot be carried out due to time and funding, and the sulfur content has reached the requirements of the project, so there is no need for further research.
