1. Weichai released eight weichai engines

According to media reports, on January 8, Weichai released eight Weichai engines in Weichai Industrial Park in Weifang, Shandong. These eight new products have a low power of 52KW and a high power of 276KW. The displacement is from 2.3 to 6 cylinders of the four-cylinder machine. The machine is involved in 9.5 liters, and the fuel also covers both fuel and natural gas.

Four of them meet the national six standards, namely WP4.6, WP4.1, WP3, WP2.3.

2. Establishment of the National Five Standards

On January 14, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the fourth document in 2016, which established the implementation standards for the National Five. The national five standards will be implemented in sub-regions starting from April 1.

(1) The 11 provinces and cities in the east (Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong, and Hainan) since April 1, 2016, All imported, sold and registered light-duty gasoline vehicles, light-duty diesel buses, heavy-duty diesel vehicles (only for public transportation, sanitation, postal use) must meet the requirements of the National 5th Standard.

(2) Since January 1, 2017, all light-duty gasoline vehicles and heavy-duty diesel vehicles (buses and buses, sanitation, postal use) manufactured, imported, sold and registered shall comply with the requirements of the National 5th Standard. Since July 1, 2017, all heavy-duty diesel vehicles manufactured, imported, sold and registered must meet the requirements of the National 5th Standard.

(3) From January 1, 2018, all light-duty diesel vehicles manufactured, imported, sold and registered shall meet the requirements of the National 5th Standard.

3. Yuchai launches domestic high horsepower engine

On January 21 in Kunshan, Jiangsu, Yuchai launched a 13-liter engine with a displacement of 580 hp. The model of this engine is YC6K1358-50, which also meets the national five standards. The engine can reach 580 horsepower at a high power. It is the largest 13-liter displacement model in China, and its torque is 2550 Nm. It is also large at home. The engine can last for more than 1.6 million kilometers.

Among them, Weichai, Yuchai, FAW Xichai, Quanchai, Yunnei Power, Changchai and other enterprises have launched the National Five products. Bosch, Weifu Hi-Tech and Xinfeng Technology also highlighted the high-pressure common rail system and post-processing solutions for non-road areas.

7. The Ministry of Environmental Protection officially sought advice from the enterprise on the diesel vehicle national six emission regulations.

The "Draft for Comment" pointed out that the diesel engine national six emission standards will be fully implemented from January 1, 2020.

At the same time, this standard specifies the emission limits and test methods for gaseous and particulate pollutants discharged from compression-ignition engine vehicles (compressed-type engines, ie diesel engines, editor's note) and their compression-ignition engines; NG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as a fuel for emission limits and measurement methods for gaseous pollutants emitted by ignited engine vehicles and their ignited engines.

This standard is applicable to the type inspection and new production vehicle emission supervision of the compression ignition type (gas-fueled ignition type) engine and its vehicles for M1, M2, N1, N2 and other M3 and N3 vehicles with reference quality greater than 2610kg. Check and check for compliance with the vehicle.

The whole vehicle type inspection according to this standard can be extended to the deformation and modified vehicles with the reference quality exceeding 2380kg. If the M1, M2, and N1 vehicles equipped with the compression-ignition type (gas-fueled ignition type) engine do not exceed 3.5t have been type tested according to GB 18352.X-201X, the type inspection may not be carried out according to this standard. If the M1, M2, N1 and N2 vehicles equipped with the compression-ignition (gas-fired ignition type) engine have a reference mass not exceeding 2840kg, the type inspection has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB 18352.X-201X, then the engine is not Type inspection according to this standard.
