Spain's textile machinery exports increased by 39.5% in the first half of the year

In the first half of 2011, Spanish textile machinery exports increased by 39.5% over the same period of last year. Exports including Europe accounted for 34%, mainly in France, Italy, Portugal and Germany; followed by Asia, accounting for 21%, mainly in India and China. ; followed by Latin America, accounting for 16%, mainly in Mexico and Brazil; and the Middle East accounted for 13%, including Iran and Syria and other countries.

In 2010, the import volume of Spanish textile machinery was EUR 29,919,000. It mainly imported machinery components such as washing machines and dryers (Hscode 84509000/84519000), accounting for 63%; the export amount was 177.95 million EUR. Major export rope makers, dryers, ironing machine parts, washing machine parts, clothes dryers, spinning machines and other auxiliary machinery, textile machinery trade deficit of 51.25 million euros. There are about 80 textile machinery manufacturers in Spain, mainly in Catalonia, accounting for 56% of the total, employing more than 2,000 people, revenue of 238 million euros, the main manufacturers include: Electro-Jet, MasiasMaquinaria, GaliInternacional , Valentinrius Clapers, Talleres Ratera, Pinter, GalanTextil, Margasa, InformaticaTextil, TexmaMaquinariaTextil, Escarre, Coll-Loras, et al.

The International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITMA-InternationalTextileMachineryExhibition) will be held in Barcelona from September 22nd to 29th this year, with a total of 1,300 exhibitors from 45 countries. In terms of product differentiation, the dye printing machine mainly accounts for 30%, spinning machines 15%, looms 14% and knitting machines 12%.
