At the exhibition site, Tian Min, General Manager of Taiyuan CNOOC, stated: “The green and environmentally friendly vehicles we produced are in line with the national energy-saving and emission reduction policy. These vehicles use natural gas and coalbed methane as fuel, and their emission indicators have been greatly improved. The product economy is good, compared with the fuel vehicle, the consumption can save 50% of the cost." Taiyuan Chang'an Heavy Industries & Machinery makes Longcheng, the old industrial base, stand on a new historical starting point and further integrates into the international and domestic automotive industry family! As an important province of coal and mineral resources in the country, Shanxi has a strong demand for heavy-duty vehicles. Newly-approved 40,000 vehicles are introduced each year. Moreover, as these resources are transported both inside and outside the province, the country’s largest and most important heavy vehicle regional market has formed, accounting for nearly 40% of the country’s total demand. With the gradual advancement of Taiyuan CNHTC's new base construction, Taiyuan Chang'an CNHTC will invest a further RMB 500 million to gradually improve the four major processes of stamping, welding, painting and final assembly to promote the rapid increase of production capacity.
